Engines PdM is a high-tech engineering start-up company. (PdM is the acronym for Predictive Maintenance.) Its goal is to develop a powerful procedure for monitoring the condition of reciprocating engines. The company was established in February 2000 by Prof. Eran Sher and Dr. Gal deBotton in association with Ofakim Innovative Technologies, Capital Point Ltd. and B.G. Negev Technologies. Engines PdM has thus far secured R&D financing for its first two years of operation, and has recruited top quality researchers, whose major task now is to complete the current development of its first commercial system. Engines PdM owns the intellectual property and thus the rights to manage the implementation of the concept as envisaged by its founders. However, in order to complete the development of its technology and then commercialize it, Engines PdM is currently interested in establishing cooperative ties with a strategic partner. |
